For Spring/Summer 2020, Suboo presents Lumière; a new collection of ready to wear, resort wear and swimwear for the modern summer siren. Embodying the spirit of the season, Sabina Socol stars in the campaign shot in the South of France. Inspired by Brigitte Bardot, and the effortless 1960s glamour that she is synonymous with, the collection includes an electric mix of summer pieces ready to take on a weekend filled with sun kissed days and balmy nights. This season the Suboo girl is a free-spirited star; a lover and on adventurer, who walks her own path with a modern style true to herself. Lumière is a collection made for the sirens of today.
What tips do you have for achieving the French cool-girl look?
To not over think your look and also not follow trends too much. I feel like it’s always o good idea to go for shapes that suit you and make you feel comfortable. Whether you’re French or not actually :)
What makes a European Summer so special?
There are so many diverse places to travel during the summer in Europe ! From France to Italy to Greece, it’s a complete change of scenery while still so easy to reach. I feel like we love laid back, hot days, followed by late warm nights spent with friends around some wine and good food. European summer is just the epitome of hedonism. That’s what makes it so special
Where are your top recommendations for a European Summer holiday?
My top 3 are the south of France, Corsica, and Italy. But also the Balearic Islands. Let’s say I have a top 4 :) I feel like these places are so beautiful you simply can’t go wrong by going there.
How does your style change between the winter and summer seasons?
It’s funny how it changes completely! My style during the summer is way more feminine and sexy than my winter style. I’ll go for prints and colors too whereas during colder days, I tend to stick to more neutral colors. It’s one of the reasons why I love summer so much.
